Buenos dias!!!

Buenos dias!!!

Here are some really happy things that happened in the last 7 days:

-Jeffrey wants to be baptized September 16th 2017!
Whoohoo!
Hermana Masoe and I are SO proud of him for wanting to take this big step of faith in his life.

-Personal Progress is a program designed for the young women in the church. Yesterday evening we were able to help some girls in the ward learn about the importance of Choice and Accountability through talking about the example of Esther in the Bible!

- El Libro de Mormons: Hermana Masoe and I made it a goal to pass out more of these books throughout our days. This past friday some of the projects celebrated "Family Day" so we were able to set up a booth and talk to people about Jesus Christ & provide kids with a coloring station.

-SUSHI! I tried sushi for the first time & I am sold! There is a Whole Foods that just opened up in Harlem and its located right down the street from our chappel. #blessings! Thanks for the gift card momma worley!

I am super grateful for the little line in 2 Nephi 1:10 that says....
"having power given them to do all things by faith"....
that I read during personal study yesterday.
It helped bless me with comfort and trust that I CAN do things that are way out of my comfort zone!!!
I know that we will be given all the power we need to accomplish what Christ needs us to do if we have faith.
:)

I love you all.
Thank you for the love, the light, the prayers. All of it!

Harlem Days!

Hello hello hello!

Here are some Harlem Highlights:

-Jeffery came to church this past Sunday with Hermana Masoe and I! Whoohoo!
I asked him what is favorite thing about church was and he said:
"It makes me feel closer to God."
i love it. church makes me feel closer to God too.

- Harlem Days! It was Harlem week which ment there was a HUGE farmers market full of fried chicken + bumping bachata + the african market goods. Super fun. The church rented out a booth to help people learn about thier family history! Hermana Masoe and I were able to go to help out with the spanish speakres. It was SO happy!

- Every week we volunteer at Red Oaks Retirment center with lunches. I made a really sweet friend there about 3 moths ago and her name is Solito.
She wants me to marry her grandson. I want her to come to church with me. We love eachother lots!!!

-SPLIT! Yesterday I was able to spend the day with Sister Horton.

Thats about all I have time for this week!
Thank you for the prayers and emails.
Love,
Hermana Worley

Hello everyone!

Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday! 🎉
It was a really good week in Harlem. Hermana Masoe and I were able to see a lot of miracles.
Here are a few things that happened........

-VIANCES BIRTHDAY!!
(Viance is a recent convert, I was able to go do baptisms with her my first day in Harlem) She is now 13 years old.... so Hermana Masoe and I blew up a bunch of balloons + put on our princess birthday crowns and sang her "feliz cumpleaños"

- Zoila is leaving to the D.R. to be with her husband for sometime.

-A new pizza joint opened up on Amsterdam so we were given free pizza!

-An interview with President Smith. He is so wonderful.

-Prayers. We made it a goal to pray with more people. People on the street. At their front doors. On the bus. Prayer is so powerful!
I testify this is true.

- Harlem Shake! A member in the ward, Herman & his fiance, took Hermana Masoe and I out to lunch at Harlem Shake. If you are ever in Harlem.....you must stop by.

We received the news this past week that another apostle of the Lord will be visiting the mission: President Russell M. Nelson
We are very blessed!
We will also begin to read the Book of Mormon together as a mission.
To prepare we are studying the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
I know that our Savior lives and gracias a Él.....nada as imposible. ❤

Welp. Thats a wrap!
You are all in my prayers.

Love, Hermana Worley
